It's All In The Mind, You Know

Image 2You Should See It Again... Like It Was The Very First Time

This amazing animated art film (now almost 40 years old) seems almost more sophisticated today than when it was released in 1968. Inspired by the Beatles' music, it is the collaborative work of a slew of writers and animators notably including the German art director and genius Heinz Edelman. So amidst the ennui we carry while watching the bright colors fade from our Troost Avenue Tulips, we've decided to have a Pepperland party and inject ourselves with this kaleidescope feast of some Fab Four color and fun which includes a digitally tweaked soundtrack and 4 minutes of "Hey Bulldog" which you didn't get to see in the original.

Many of you were spotted on the Avenue this Spring taking pictures of Troost Avenue's Tulips however very, very few of you have shared your artistic genius with TroostAvenue.com!

One notable exception is Ideal Garment on the 4500 block of Troost Avenue which is looking more like the 4th Arrondisement every day.

Today Is The First Day of the Rest of Your Life

Image 3Earlier today a spanking new city council and mayor were sworn in to change the way the world works in Kansas City so lets see how long it takes them to update the website.

Save the link, because there you have all the contact information you need to send your hearty congrats and offer your ideas and help to make Kansas City the best town ever!

Meanwhile, we'll be happy for you to lend us a hand as we dig and plant this Saturday on the 6300 Block of Troost Avenue because let's face it things on Troost Avenue are going to look pretty desperate soon.
