Trees On Troost

It Goes Without Saying -- Gold Ginkos Would Look Great.

Did you know that with the help of the Kessler Society and the city forester you can help add years and years of beauty to Troost Avenue's right-of-ways at reduced wholesale prices? Yes indeed, for a minimal cost (usually between $125 & $200 depending on the tree) the Society will advise us on the very best and most beautiful tree for a particular site be it an Autumn Gold Ginko, Greenspire Linden or Autumn Purple Ash (to name just a few) and then have it professionally planted at no extra cost. (You can continue to help by making certain it gets watered.) Close to 200 trees in Kansas City have been thus facilitated by the Kessler Society and that seems only right since George Kessler is the landscape architect genius behind Kansas City's absolutely gorgeous Parks, Boulevards and Avenues system which he put into place in 1907. Email us now for a Tree on Troost tomorrow.

This Tree Partnership Program is sponsored by the Kessler Society and the KCMO Board of Parks and Recreation Commissioners and can be used on any city right-of-way in the soon to turn emerald Kansas City.
